My nana said the other day "I like new beginnings". And I think I do too. They can be a bit scary sometimes, but sometimes they're so exciting you forget the fear. None of that really has to do with knitting (since I think most of us, myself included, get so caught up in "beginnings" that we catch what the knitting world calls "startitis"), but I am happy and excited about this newest project. It's Cookie A.'s Pomatomus in Zitron Trekking XXL. It's hard to see in this picture but I'm loving the way the self-patterning Trekking is working up in this stitch pattern.
