am I seeing things?

I can't show you much more of what I'm working on right now because I'm thinking about sending in the design for potential publication... but I needed a collective answer to a troubling question. Do you see a line? I recently switched skeins and, as with many handspun yarns, it looks to me like there is a distinct difference between the two. Am I seeing things or does anyone else see a difference?

I do not see a line. Hopefully others will concur.

I see some variations in color and texture - some of them kind of geometric - but definitely not a line.

I don't see it either, Erin. If it is nagging at you, are you too far beyond the change point to frog back and alternate skeins for a few rows to "blend" in the new skein?

I see no clear line indicating a new skein. The color looks the same to me. If they are from the same dye batch, a slight difference in the spinning twist won't be noticeable. To my eye it certainly passes "The Flying Horse Test" -- would someone flying by on a galloping horse notice it? You know it because you did it and it is right under your watchful eye just inches away. Relax.

I see a line about 1/3rd the way down the picture, but I wouldn't consider it dramatic enough to worry about 1.

I think it just looks like the natural color variation that occurs with yarn. Doesn't look like a distinct line to me. I don't think it looks like something to worry about.
